The Institute for Management and Economics in Healthcare (founded in May, 2004) focuses on teaching, research and consulting in the areas of:
- Management of healthcare systems as well as their single entities
- Socio-economic evaluation of health services and healthcare structures
- Financing of healthcare systems
The Institute for Management and Economics in Healthcare has its core mission in providing research, teaching and consulting in health services management, evaluation of socio-economic issues in health systems and also in (behavioral) economics applied to the health sector.
